My first time at Cliffhouse and definitely will be back. Food is amazing. The calamari is some of the best I have ever had. The dining area is very nice and staff were very welcoming. Loved that the staff were very attentive and always checking if everything was good or if we needed anything. I enjoyed the steak &frites as well as surf and turf.

In town with friends and decided to go out for dinner. We chose to sit outside on the patio which in hindsight wasn't the best choice in 100*+ heat even with a mister system in place. We had a large group (8) and the wait staff handled the challenge well. My wife started with a gin and tonic and I went for my go to Vesper Martini with 3 (not 1or 2) blue cheese olives . My wife and I shared the Wedge Salad (excellent) and the fresh hot bread was hard to put down. My wife went for the Chef's Cut and Frites and I went for the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna. Both excellent. The Cliff House is an iconic landmark here in the desert and worth a try when you're in the area.

We went for happy hour midweek. It is definitely quite popular as the bar area was almost full when we got there a little after 4:00. We were able to grab 2 seats at the bar, as someone had just gotten up. If you plan to come for happy hour, make sure you don't wait until the very end of the time, or you might not be able to get a seat. I went with their house white wine, which was pretty good. Between two of use, we ordered 3 items off their bar happy hour menu - zucchini sticks, scallops, and fish tacos. I must say that with all 3 dishes, it was a very rich meal, as even the scallops had a good amount of cheese and butter, but all the items were good. We saw several people order wedge salads, which are popular there, and they looked really good. The bartenders there that night were both super nice and welcoming. The inside of the restaurant was very nice, but I would definitely love to sit on the patio sometimes. It just makes you feel like you are somewhere else than off a main road in the area. Make your reservation well ahead of time if you want to sit outside.

Let me start off by saying that the Parking situation could be a little better. For whatever reason half of the parking lot was closed off and it created some congestion in the entrance. However, I'm here to judge the restaurant. Beautiful cliffside view and the indoor/outdoors areas were very nice. Elegant and somewhat vintage. Tired the 3 course special with the 1st course being a miso clam chowder. Amazing! The best I've ever had! Highly recommend. Complimentary bread and butter, which was very good! 2nd course I got the braised short rib with mash potatoes! And the meat was seasoned beautifully, very tender. Mashed potatoes were amazing as well! Even the Brussels sprouts were delicious! My girlfriend for the salmon, and that was also very good, but personally I liked the short rib more. For my dessert I got the key lime pie. Very strong on the lime flavor but I mean, I should've expected that. I recommend the gelato. Very sweet and savory. Overall, great food, great experience! Would definitely Come back whenever we come back to Palm springs.

Had a wonderful dinner at the Cliff House last night. Snd it was wine Weds with half off bottles of wine! My husband and I loved the beef short ribs and our dining companion thoroughly enjoyed the sugared salmon with her corn chowder starter. The ambiance is spectacular and we dined outside on a beautiful evening. Service was spotty, we had to ask for bread and it would have been nice if the wine was served with dinner not after dinner was already served. Minor faux pas. All in all a great experience

Had a great meal last night! La Quinta Cliffhouse is perfect for celebrating a special occasion or just a nice date night out. We ate inside due to the weather but they have nice outdoor seating too. It was busy when we came in, so our server was working quite a few tables, but overall no complaints. The N/A Erdinger beer was excellent, and the No-Groni mocktail was good but tasted a little bland. We tried the stuffed dates, the Caesar salad, the braised short ribs (fantastic - the half order was plenty for me), the blue cheese pork chop, the New York strip and the lobster. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. We finished with some chocolate mousse (amazing) and carrot cake (really good and once piece was enough for the whole table to have some!). The valet went above and beyond getting our car at the end of the night - it was chilly and windy and he had us on our way quickly.

What a beautiful restaurant on a cliff between rocks. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were sooo good. They have a beautiful patio for seating against the rocks. We ordered the pear martinis which were so perfect. Not too sweet just the perfect amount of sweetness. As my meal I just ordered the Poke appetizer which was sooooo good! Our service was so friendly and attentive.

Such beautiful ambiance! Upon pulling up it screams class and elegance. You can take the steps up to the 2nd floor for the dining room along the "cliff" with waterfall, or the elevator. I opted for the steps, so that I could take it all in. The interior for me is slightly stuffy, but still elegant. Our server RJ was excellent! Very attentive to our party of 8, knowledgeable and personable. Spinach and artichoke egg rolls were a hit Blue cheese wedge salad a hit Grilled rack of lamb a hit Sea bass good just needed a few more flecks of salt Braised short rib a hit Blue cheese pork chops a hit Twin lobster tails were a standout! Cooked perfectly, & seasoned well Sorbet & key lime pie were good My surprise special bday cliffhouse ice cream wedge was soo cute to look at, and yummy! Thank you RJ and all the staff at La Quinta Cliffhouse for a delicious and beautiful dining experience, for a very special day! 10/10
